Lived in Newtown Tas. In 1896 on his son's birth he was listed as a Grocers assistant.
In his will written on 2 June 1932, he indicates his late father left several trust funds and the income and dividends from the trust should be paid to his wife, Rosetta Anne Bourne for her life. Upon her death and his, the capial and income would be divided equally amoungst his remaing living children. This will was filed for probate on 30 July 1936 indicating Edwin probably died in 1936 or late 1935.
Edwin married Rosetta (Rose) Ann CALWAY, daughter of William CALWAY and Amy (Elizabeth) HAWKINS, on 27 Mar 1891 in Portland, Tas. (Rosetta (Rose) Ann CALWAY was born on 10 Jun 1869 in Hobart, Tasmania, died on 20 Jun 1932 in Richmond, Tas and was buried on 22 Jun 1932 in Cornelian Bay Cemetery, Hobart, Tas.). The cause of her death was Cerebral Haemorrhage/Cardiaic Paralysis.
