Robert represented the University of Melbourne at a number of Intervarsity Championships and went on to make a major contribution to water polo as the President of Water Polo Victoria and as a Board Member of Water Polo Australia. Our condolences and thoughts are with his three children Christopher, Alexandra and Matthew, who like their father were all representatives of the Melbourne University Water Polo Club.
