There was a Leonard Bird Buried in the Cornelian Bay Cemetery on 9 Oct 1971 aged 68 in the C of E section TT 939 last residence Chigwell Burial Nos B14579, B 20756. There was also a Josephine Bird buried on the 15 Apr 1977 living in Chigwell aged 67 also in the C of E section TT 939 with the burial nos B 20756, B 22939. Josephine would have been 67. It would be an extronanary coincidence if this was not the Leonard and Josephine here. There is only 1 other Leonard listed and was days old and no other Josephine.
So I have changed the death dates from 13 Nov 1971 to Oct 1971 for Leonard and from 12 Dec 1977 to Apr 1977 for Josephine

Josephine married Leonard BIRD on 22 May 1943 in Hobart, Tasmania. (Leonard BIRD was born on 21 Oct 1902 in Oyster Cove, Tas, died in Oct 1971 in Chigwell, Tas and was buried on 9 Oct 1971 in Cornelian Bay Cemetery, Hobart, Tas.)
