  General Notes:

In 1911 Amy was a dressmaker and lived in Oakley, Bedfordshire, England.
On 23 March 1917 Amy wrote to Fred, Harold's brother. The letter was addressed to Private F.C. Williams, 15 Platoon D. Coy 3rd South African Infantry, B.C.F. France.
My dear Fred
Thanks ever so much for your letter. We were glad to hear that you got the parcel at last..... I will send another some time next week so you can be on the look out for it......
Harold's latest craze is to go to Africa. He's absolutely mad to get out there he says if he can't get there any how else that he will work his passage out.
How do your Ma, Pa, May and all of them get get on? Are they all friends again now? You must write and tell us all the news. Harold loves to hear all about them and he never gets a line from any of them and Harold has sent several letters.
We are all fairly well but just about fed up with this weather......
Well my dear boy, I really haven't any more news to tell you this timebut mind you write a long letter back and answer all my questions. Geoff and Joyce send lots of xxxxxx to uncle Fred and fondest love and kisses from Harold and myself. Goodbye for this time. Dear tell me if you get fed up with my letters.

Amy married Harold WILLIAMS, son of Gwilym WILLIAMS and Mary MORGAN, in 1914 in Watford, Hertfordshire, Eng. (Harold WILLIAMS was born on 6 Apr 1893 in Treorchy, Wales, died on 29 Aug 1967 in Parkville, Melbourne, Vic and was buried on 30 Aug 1967 in Cremated at Fawkner.). The cause of his death was Acute pulmonary odema.
