On the birth Certificate of her daughter she made a cross and the registrar M.J. Barton indicated it was the mark of Jane Brocklesby, Mother, Bishop Norton
I could not find Jane Laceby in the 1841 English Census.
In the 1861 Survey their name was misspelled as Brockelsby. They were living in Farr Street in Bishop Norton and the number of the schedule was 30. At this time they had their family with them up to Elizabeth who was 2 years old. This is how we deduce the children and their approximate ages.
Jane married John BROCKLESBY in Sep 1848 in Caistor, Lincolnshire, Eng. (John BROCKLESBY was born in 1826 in Bishop Norton, Caistor, Lincolnshire, Eng and died 1884 or 1897 in Caistor, Lincolnshire, Eng.)
