bullet  General Notes:

There is an Ann Greenwood reportedly married in Apr-Jun 1840 in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. This could be our Ann and I have tentatively filled in this information.

In the 1851 survey Ann was living at her father's home (John Greenwood) with her husband and family. John Greenwood aged 65 was living in Blyton, Lincolnshire as the head of the house with his daughter Ann Goulding and her husband George Goulding together with their family ie his grand children including John Goulding aged 7. ie born 1843-4 in Glentworth Lincolnshire. As there is only one record of a John Goulding being born in Lincolnshire in 1842-4 and he was born in Glentworth, I conclude that this is our Ancestor, John Goulding. This gives us his parents and mother's maiden name as well as the grandfather.

In the 1861 census, Anne ( note the different spelling) was 46 giving her birth date about 1815. She was living in Blyton Lincolnshire with George and their children Caroline 11, Anne 5, David 7, Levey Ann 13 and Mary Anne 2. She was living in High Street.

In the 1871 census, George and Ann were living alone.
