Florence May BERRY

Marriage indicates she was Florence May Berry married in 1925 in Vic Reg No 3883.

Little Flo as she was called lived at Chisholm St opposite the Black Hill Primary School. Her husband had passed away in 1935 and I only ever remember her living with her daughters. After Les died, the house was left to Little Flo, Rose and Ann because Les died without testate. When the girls turned 21 they signed the house back to their Mum. Flo later sold the house and moved with Ann to Havlock St.

There were the two Flo Woods' at Ballarat. Little Flo and Big Flo and we always referred to them as such. Niel Ross recalls they were also known as Under Flo and Over Flo.

Florence May Woods Buried 14 Feb 1989 in the New Cemetery, Ballarat.

Florence married Leslie William WOODS, son of UNKNOWN and Ann (Annie) WOOD, on 25 Apr 1925 in Vic. (Leslie William WOODS was born on 12 Oct 1894 in Chisholm St, Ballarat, Vic, died on 13 Oct 1935 in Ballarat, Vic and was buried on 14 Oct 1935 in Ballarat Cemetery, Ballarat, Vic.). The cause of his death was Peritonitis - Burst Appendix.
